In this recent stury I explore the potential of AI to create a fully animated video that still feel. The goal wasn't just to make a cool video, but to understand what elements are needed for this kind of work, and where it could fit into my own practice and the creative field at large.

The idea was to explore something that wouldn’t be possible in real life. I’ve always had this image in my head: a van with a sticker of a woman on its side, like an ad—except her leg is cut off at the bottom edge of the vehicle. Then the van parks in front of a shoe that lines up perfectly with where her leg would be. Suddenly, it looks like one seamless image—as if the woman in the ad is actually wearing the shoe.

The Bottega Veneta Chelsea Tire boot felt perfect for this. I chose it for its strong, simple design, which I found to be a great starting point.

The project opened up a lot of questions about where fully AI-animated work fits into our existing creative practices and how I can use this technology to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
